Who We Are:

We are a program designed to give young men and women the basic knowledge and preparation for a career in the Fire Service.

What We Do:

We have twice monthly meetings where we engage in all facets of the Fire Service. From dragging hose, raising ladders, flowing water, search and rescue evolutions with air paks (SCBA's), fire extinguisher training, to EMS (Emergency Medical Service) evolutions. We do it all. We also participate in various community activities (parades & festivals) and other projects as assigned by the Waukegan Fire Department.

Requirements:

You need to be a young man or woman between the ages of 13 - 21 and be ready to learn, work hard, and have fun.

How to Join:

Meetings are usually held on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month and on some Saturdays.
